What would winter be without snow?  God “spreads the snow like wool, and scatters the frost like ashes” (Psalm 147:16).

Psalm 148: 7-8 says “Praise the Lord from the earth… lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding.”

All of it is a testimony to His greatness.  When you look at those tiny flakes, all different, all perfect, remember the Creator who sends them.  He planned everything to be flawless, because He Himself is flawless.  The creation reflects the Creator, and praises Him.  All is for His glory.  Solo Deo Gloria, how I often end my posts here, means exactly that.  “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”  Doesn’t he deserve it?

The Psalmist uses the phrase: “Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.”

Amen to that,
