Snow! It’s everywhere right now. It’s coating the land in a bright white blanket, covering the dirt and the stones and the flaws that make nature unique and beautiful. It’s coating everything with a perfect, pure layer, as of yet unmarred by footprint. It’s beautiful to behold.
It reminds me off salvation. Our sins are the flaws and cracks and dirt and rocks of nature. When we are forgiven, we are covered with His grace. It’s pure, unspotted and unmarred.
Psalm 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
We can only be made whiter than snow if He washes us. We must ask Him to make us pure and holy. It is by His grace that we can be changed, and by His will that we should be changed.
Does He see you as snow, or scarred?
