Call My Name…

When it feels like you’re alone in the sadness,

And it feels like no one in this whole world cares,

And you want to get away from the madness,

You just call My name and I’ll be there

 

I’m not even sure who sings that song, but I know it’s been stuck in my head all day, which was magnificent because today I have been struggling with some things, just a ton of little things and I was tired and all that, you know? And then the song replayed in my head and I did just go and pray and it helps, it really does, to unburden yourself. (Wow, such a rambling way to start.)

The song is so true, and such a good reminder that even in the sadness and the gloom and when your life feels insane and you think no one understands, that God is there, and He understands and He knows what you are struggling with even if no one else does…

I think we forget to run to Him as often as we should. I know I do, anyway. So here’s a little reminder for everyone :).
